The Role

• Undertake and assist Engineers with installations, commissioning and testing of Systems
• Conduct system demonstrations, handovers and training to clients’ and/or representatives as necessary
• Attend general service/repairs & maintenance visits
• Undertake system designs, site surveys and site meetings
• Technical support to colleagues and customers
• Ensure works are completed on time, in a professional manner.
• Ensure regular communication is maintained with clients’ and site contacts throughout duration of works
• Provide detailed and clear reports as required, both written and video
• Supervise and monitor internal & external labour

Train and develop Security Systems Engineers effectively

• Identify and facilitate training needs for engineers as necessary
• Assist in creating and delivering training programmes for engineers
• Attend training courses as required

Qualifications/Experience

• Excellent knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarm Systems
• Minimum 5-years’ experience working within the Electronic Security Systems industry
• City & Guilds or Tavcom, or similar, trained in Electronic Security Systems
• Knowledge and experience of Systems Networking and IP Configuration
• Full UK driving licence
• SSSTS Certified
• CSCS Card
• IPAF Certified (desired)
• PASMA Certified (desired)

The Packge

• Salary - £30,000-£35,000 per annum + OOH + Performance Related Bonuses
• Hours of work - 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) + OOH
• Holiday – 20 days (rising 1 day per year up to 25 maximum) plus 8 Bank Holidays
